Incoming Freight, San Francisco

A Freight Ship in San Francisco

Took this photograph about a year or so ago and passed it up on the first few glances as not usable photo.

This year I’ve been experimenting with various processing and asking other photogs to participate. Initially, I started out with a Critique of Photographs from folks on G+ and from that project I learned that most people take great photos and really can use just a small amount of editing to take them to next level. See the post on the lessons learned.

I then started a thread asking if photogs were interested in editing one of my photos. Again, the response was fantastic and quite a few great edits came out of that project. One of the photos from the editing thread was this photo of the San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge. After editing the original photo – I now like this photograph very much.
